These bark vessels are vigorously thrown in 2 parts, assembled and altered, with layers of slip and glaze skimming over the surface trail of throwing and tool marks to give the piece life and vitality. Inspired by a residency in Australia during 2019 at the time of the extensive catastrophic bushfires. High fired oxidised stoneware.
