A warm yellow smolders against the singed deep shadows. A tonal contrast to my lighter work to highlight mood and elements, ie of fire and heat. Originally inspired by bush walks in NSW Australian bush. This bowl is pinched and coiled freehand, then covered in layers of slip and glaze. High fired oxidised stoneware.
